Job Title: Legal Services Manager

We are seeking a visionary Legal Services Manager to lead our Legal Services Department and drive both operational excellence and employee engagement.

Position Overview:
The Legal Services Manager will lead and inspire a high-performing Legal Services Department. This people-focused leadership role combines strategic oversight, employee development, and operational management. The manager will ensure that attorneys and paralegals meet performance expectations, receive comprehensive onboarding, and thrive in a collaborative, high-engagement culture aligned with firm-wide objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor the Legal Services team, holding team members accountable while fostering growth and engagement.
  • Design and implement best practices for legal service delivery, onboarding, and professional development.
  • Monitor performance metrics, provide feedback, and manage performance improvement plans when needed.
  • Strategically assign cases based on capacity, experience, and specialty alignment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to optimize operations and client outcomes.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Executive Team on talent management, workforce strategy, and retention initiatives.
  • Uphold compliance with ethical and regulatory standards, including the Rules of Professional Conduct.
  • Analyze trends in engagement and retention, developing initiatives to maintain a high-performing and satisfied team.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership with the Colorado Bar Association.
  • Minimum 5 years of legal practice experience and at least 2+ years in a people-leadership role within a legal setting.
  • Proven experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and standard legal technology platforms.
