Responsibilities:
Performs secretarial and administrative duties to support the VP & General Counsel, VP Enterprise Risk Management, and the Legal/Risk Management team. May also be assigned substantive tasks within the Legal/Risk Management function commensurate with the incumbent’s skills and experience.

Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range for the role is $62,361-$77,951 salaried. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity)
Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Associate’s Degree required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Minimum Experience: At least five (5) years as the principal administrative support to a manager, director, or senior executive, preferably in a healthcare environment.
Required Certification/Registration: Paralegal training preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements: Work is primarily sedentary with intermittent standing and walking. No heavy lifting.
Mental Demands: Must be able to: (a) triage, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks in an often highly stressful environment while maintaining composure and professionalism at all times; and (b) represent the collaborative and supportive mission of the Legal/Risk Management team to the entire organization.
Working Conditions: Normal office; works in a clean, well-lighted, heated or ventilated office. No routine exposure to hazards.
