Level 1 RN Med/Surg 1st Acute

RN Med/Surg (Contract to Perm) – NY 14527

• Contract Length: 14 Weeks (05/11/2026 – 08/15/2026)

• Schedule: Part-Time, 2x12-hour shifts/week

• Shift Times: Variable Day/Evening/Night (e.g., 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

• Hours: 24 hrs/week

• Pay: $1,914 – $2,149/week

• Requirements: Rotational shifts + Every Other Weekend (EOW) & Holidays required

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Deliver direct Med/Surg patient care; assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care

• Monitor telemetry/cardiac status and administer medications/treatments

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team; update individualized care plans

• Educate patients/families on care, recovery, and post-discharge needs

• Ensure safety, infection control, documentation, and quality care standards

Requirements

• Active NYS RN Licensure

• BLS & ACLS Certifications (required)

• Minimum 1 year Med/Surg RN experience

• Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and communication skills

• Ability to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
