Job Summary

We are looking for a Level 1 Support Engineer to join our Digital Marketing Team. This role bridges technology and marketing — ensuring that websites, campaigns, analytics, and customer-facing platforms run smoothly. The ideal candidate will provide technical support for marketing tools, troubleshoot website/hosting issues, and assist with digital campaigns to enhance customer experience and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

  • Provide first-line support for marketing-related tools (WordPress, CRM, email marketing platforms, analytics dashboards, ad managers, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot basic website, hosting, and integration issues for campaigns and landing pages.
  • Assist with tracking setup (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, pixels).

Digital Marketing Operations Support

  • Support campaign launches by ensuring all links, landing pages, and tracking codes are functional.
  • Work with the digital marketing team to test and QA ads, emails, and automation workflows.
  • Help maintain SEO tools, keyword tracking, and reporting dashboards.

Client/Team Assistance

  • Respond to internal tickets and requests from the Digital Marketing team.
  • Document issues, resolutions, and best practices for recurring problems.
  • Escalate advanced technical issues to Level 2 engineers or developers.

Data & Reporting

  • Generate weekly reports on campaign performance metrics (traffic, leads, conversions).
  • Track and report technical issues that impact marketing performance.

Continuous Learning

  • Stay updated with marketing technologies and tools (Meta Ads, Google Ads, HubSpot, SEMrush, etc.).
  • Participate in internal training for both IT troubleshooting and digital marketing basics.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Marketing Technology, or a related field.

Experience

  • 1+ year experience in technical support, IT helpdesk, or digital marketing support.
  • Experience with WordPress, hosting environments, or CMS platforms is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Ads platforms, and marketing automation tools preferred.

Skills

  • Strong troubleshooting skills (websites, hosting, integrations).
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS (for minor fixes).
  • Understanding of digital marketing workflows (SEO, PPC, email, social media).
  • Proficiency in CRM and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
