Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented SEO Specialist to join our Digital Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, and SEO best practices. In this role, you will optimize our website and content to improve our organic search visibility, drive traffic, and increase conversion rates. Key Responsibilities: The following are the main key responsibilities for this role:
On-Page SEO Optimization
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify content opportunities and search trends.
- Optimize website content, meta tags, and on-page elements to improve rankings for target keywords.
- Collaborate with content writers and web developers to implement SEO best practices on new and existing content.
Technical SEO
- Perform regular site audits to identify technical SEO issues and recommend fixes.
- Optimize website architecture, internal linking, and URL structure for crawlability and indexing.
- Ensure site speed, mobile responsiveness, and user experience are optimized for SEO.
Content Strategy and SEO
- Work with the content team to develop SEO-focused content strategies, including blogs, articles, and landing pages.
- Use SEO insights to guide content creation and ensure alignment with search intent.
- Implement and oversee link-building strategies to strengthen domain authority and improve rankings.
Analytics and Performance Tracking
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs).
- Track, analyze, and report on SEO KPIs such as rankings, organic traffic, conversion rates, and bounce rates.
- Provide regular updates and insights on SEO performance and recommend improvements.
Competitive and Market Analysis
- Conduct competitive analysis to understand market trends, keyword gaps, and link-building opportunities.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
- Adjust strategies in response to search engine algorithm updates and market trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of improving organic search rankings.
- Strong knowledge of SEO tools, including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar tools.
- Expertise in on-page and technical SEO, keyword research, and content optimization.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles related to SEO.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and effective communication.
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
