Liability Adjuster Trainee - Baton Rouge, LA

What You’ll Do

Duties & responsibilities (upon successful completion of training)

• Determine coverage and liability.
• Determine liability (who's at fault for the damages)
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses
• Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs
• Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers to resolve claims.
• Document activities in claim file notes in clear, complete & concise manner.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

• 2 years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Required Skills:

• Customer service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Multitasking and time management skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer Skills

Compensation

• $20.00/ hour (rate increase to 50K salary upon successful completion of training and obtaining Property & Casualty license.)
