About the Role:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and organized Librarian to manage and maintain our school’s library resources. The ideal candidate will be passionate about promoting reading habits among students and ensuring an engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize, catalog, and manage library materials (books, periodicals, and digital resources).
  • Assist students and staff in locating and utilizing library resources effectively.
  • Maintain a quiet, welcoming, and resourceful library atmosphere.
  • Keep records of issued and returned books and manage overdue notices.
  • Develop and implement library policies and reading programs.
  • Ensure the proper care and maintenance of library equipment and resources.
  • Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Information Management, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in library management (school experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in library management systems and MS Office.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication and record-keeping abilities.
