In this position, you'll engage daily with community members-both inside the branch and out in the neighborhood-connecting adults and youth with books, technology, programs, and services that support lifelong learning. You'll have the opportunity to think creatively, collaborate with community partners, and make a direct impact on the lives of those we serve.

What You'll Do
As an All-Ages/Outreach Librarian, your work will go beyond the traditional desk:

  • Build relationships with community organizations and connect with patrons of all ages outside the library through outreach efforts

  • Plan and deliver engaging programs and services

  • Support daily public service needs within the branch, creating a welcoming and helpful environment

  • Champion equitable access to information and services for all members of the community

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years of library experience
  • State of Indiana Public Librarian Certification (LC-5) - within 3 years of hire
