This position plans, organizes, and delivers library services and programs, supervises assigned staff and volunteers, and supports the library’s mission by providing inclusive, innovative, and responsive services to the community. Duties include overseeing an assigned service area (programming and technology services), developing and presenting programs, assisting library users with resources and technology, participating in collection development, maintaining community partnerships, supervising staff and volunteers, and supporting library communications and reporting. The Librarian I may also serve as supervisor in charge of the library and participates in continuing education and regional library committees.
