The Adjunct Librarian is a part-time, non-benefited position that supports student learning and success through a multifaceted role that integrates teaching, resource management, and professional collaboration. Employing student-centered and innovative teaching practices, the librarian develops and delivers instruction that fosters critical thinking and interdisciplinary engagement. This role ensures access to quality resources as well as maintenance of digital systems and instructional technologies to support teaching and learning, ensuring content is current and effective. Professionalism and collaboration are integral, with active participation in institutional initiatives, professional development, and contributions to the library’s strategic goals.
Compensation: $22.65/hour.

Awareness of emerging instructional technologies and their application in academic settings.

Knowledge of library systems, electronic resource management, and discovery tools.

Familiarity with integrated library systems (ILS) and content management systems (CMS).

Understanding of the electronic resource lifecycle, including licensing, access, and troubleshooting.
