The mission of F. D. Bluford Library is to support and advance teaching, learning, and
research at N.C. A&T through user-focused services, technologies, and physical and
virtual learning spaces. We ensure individuals have access to globally trusted information
resources that equip them with the knowledge to provide solutions to society’s challenges.
The library serves more than 13,500 students, over 650 faculty, and the residents of the
Piedmont Triad region. The library is a select depository for federal and state publications.
Open 24 hours a day, excluding weekends, library users have access to over a million print
and electronic resources, technology-enhanced group study rooms, over 200 computer
workstations, a makerspace, Podcasting and green rooms with wireless access throughout
the building, mobile Internet devices, and archives that document the history of the University,
and the region.
