Job Summary

Owensboro Community and Technical College invites applications for a part-time/temporary Library Assistant in our Academic Affairs Department. This position performs a variety of duties within the library including assisting students and visitors, checking out books, and supporting library staff. Please note that this is a pool, and the finalist will be notified as needed.

Job Duties:

• Cover the circulation desk and close the library every afternoon.
• Assist students with library needs and computer-related issues in the cyber center.
• Make student IDs, sell print cards, check out books, and loaner laptops.
• Create themed displays and assign tasks to student workers.
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma and one (1) year of relevant work experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates degree and three (3) years of relevant work experience is preferred.
