EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
An employee in this classification performs routine tasks under the supervision of a professional Librarian or Library Aide.Examples of work are: shelving books and magazines, "reading" shelves to determine if the books are in their proper place, lifting boxes of books, mending books and magazines, and performing related duties as assigned. A Library Page may be required to drive the City van and make deliveries of books between the three (3) libraries. In addition, some Library Pages may work as monitors of the Library and the Meeting Rooms. Library Pages may be required to work evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays.
