Under the supervision of the Director of Community Services, the Library Services Manager will manage, supervise and coordinate the activities and operations of the City of Anna Community Library. This position will develop policies and procedures; oversee the provision of various library services and the maintenance of the library facility; coordinate assigned activities with other divisions, departments and outside agencies; and provide complex administrative support to the Community Services Director.
Master's degree from an ALA accredited college or university with major course work in library and information science is preferred and five years of increasing responsible professional library experience, including three years of administrative and supervisory responsibility, or equivalent experience and training.
Must possess current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications or obtain within 30 days of hire or promotion (online training is not valid).
Must possess a valid class “C” driver's license.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and MVR check.
Proficient in English and Spanish is preferred.
Advanced: 10-Key, Accounting, Presentation/PowerPoint, Spreadsheet, Word Processing/Typing, ILS systems, RFID, and digital collection software.
USE OF MACHINES, EQUIPMENT AND/OR COMPUTERS
Regular use of highly complex machines and equipment; specialized or advanced software programs.

Normal working conditions as found within an office setting, wherein there is controlled temperature and a low noise level, plus a minimum of distractions.
