Licensed Acupuncturist

Better Life Chiropractic and Massage is seeking a passionate, skilled, and patient-centered Licensed Acupuncturist to join our integrative healthcare team. In this role, you will collaborate alongside chiropractors, massage therapists, behavioral health providers, and other wellness professionals to deliver comprehensive, whole-body care. Our clinic embraces a truly integrative model — one that addresses the physical, mental, and emotional dimensions of health — and you will play a key role in bridging traditional Eastern medicine with our multidisciplinary team approach. You will have the opportunity to build and grow your own patient panel within an established, supportive clinic environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient intakes, health history reviews, and individualized acupuncture treatment plans
• Administer acupuncture treatments utilizing traditional and evidence-based techniques
• Provide additional modalities as applicable, including cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, and auricular acupuncture
• Document all patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner within Envision

Chiropractic EHR

• Collaborate with chiropractic, massage, and behavioral health staff to coordinate integrative, whole-person care plans
• Participate in case conferencing with behavioral health providers to support patients managing stress, anxiety, chronic pain, trauma, or other conditions with both physical and psychological components
• Educate patients on treatment goals, self-care strategies, and lifestyle recommendations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic clinical environment in accordance with infection control standards
• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and continuing education activities as requested
• Support front-desk and scheduling teams with patient communication as needed
• Uphold all HIPAA regulations and maintain strict patient confidentiality

Qualifications and Requirements

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) in the state of practice —required
• Master's degree or Doctoral degree from an ACAOM-accredited acupuncture program— required
• Current Clean Needle Technique (CNT) certification
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire)
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical acupuncture experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training will be considered
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary or chiropractic-integrated setting is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills — able to build trust and rapport with a diverse patient population
• Proficiency with electronic health records; prior experience with Envision Chiropractic EHR is a plus
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and dependable

Compensation

The Licensed Acupuncturist will be compensated at 50% of their personal collections. Collections are defined as all insurance reimbursements, patient co-pays, deductibles, and cash payments received and posted for services rendered by the Acupuncturist. Compensation is paid on a regular payroll cycle consistent with clinic pay periods.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time employee position. Standard clinic hours are Monday through Friday. Specific daily start and end times will be determined in coordination with clinic administration based on patient scheduling needs and the Acupuncturist's availability. No weekend hours are required.
