The Role

The A Licensed Aircraft Engineer will support the Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE B1/B2) in ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient execution of all Part-145 aircraft maintenance activities across the Aircraft Maintenance department and deployed locations.

The role is responsible for upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while contributing to the effective delivery of customer contractual requirements.

Operating in a highly regulated environment, the role requires a strong commitment to a safety-first culture, ensuring that all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with applicable aviation regulations and organizational procedures.

Flexibility is essential, as the role may involve extended working hours and deployment within KSA and potentially overseas to support operational demands.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support LAE B1/B2 in performing aircraft maintenance in compliance with Part-145 regulations
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out with a safety-first approach and in line with SHE standards
  • Maintain high levels of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance at all times
  • Perform and certify maintenance tasks within the scope of authorization
  • Assist in aircraft maintenance and certification at base and deployed locations
  • Conduct and supervise aircraft ground movements as required
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with approved Maintenance Manuals and procedures
  • Accurately complete all maintenance documentation in a timely manner
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
  • Support task prioritization and daily maintenance planning with LAE
  • Contribute to team development and operational efficiency
  • Assist the Chief Engineer with day-to-day engineering activities when required
  • Monitor and maintain validity of personal authorizations and certifications
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and performance
  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by LAE B1/B2 or Chief Engineer


Key Deliverables

  • Safe, compliant, and timely completion and certification of aircraft maintenance
  • Accurate and complete recording of all maintenance activities in documentation and systems
  • Full adherence to regulatory requirements and company procedures
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure the safety of others
  • Efficient execution of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to meet operational demands

  • Eligible to meet security clearance requirements (UK and ITAR)


Qualifications & Experience

  • Valid CAA Part-66 Category A Licence (unrestricted), with relevant authorisations
  • Additional company-specific maintenance authorisations (e.g. Minor Maintenance) are an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance (line, base, or workshop)
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance regulatory requirements
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders and working collaboratively
  • Exposure to continuous improvement practices is preferred
