We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral health team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, family, and crisis intervention therapy utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and motivational interviewing.
- Manage cases involving patients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, Alzheimer's disease, geriatrics, and other complex conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care plans that include medication management (psychopharmacology), medical documentation, and adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
- Document all clinical encounters accurately in electronic medical records (EMR systems), ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards like ICD-10/ICD-9 coding and CPT coding for billing purposes.
- Facilitate psychoeducational groups and conduct social work interventions tailored for pediatric patients in special education or hospital settings.
- Engage in community outreach activities and home visits to support clients within their natural environments; participate in data collection and clinical research initiatives to improve service delivery.
- Respond effectively to crisis situations through crisis management protocols; provide trauma-informed care for individuals experiencing acute distress or trauma-related symptoms.
Experience
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent in the relevant state or jurisdiction.
- Proven experience working with children & families, including child & family counseling and working with individuals with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
- Demonstrated expertise in behavioral health modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and addiction counseling.
- Experience providing services in hospital settings or community-based environments; familiarity with home & community care practices is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding systems (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical records management aligned with HIPAA standards.
- Skilled in crisis intervention strategies and managing complex cases involving PTSD or Alzheimer's care; experience with Geriatrics is a plus.
- Ability to utilize EMR systems efficiently for documentation; experience with clinical research or data collection projects is advantageous. Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
