Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C) to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral services team. In this vital role, you will provide expert psychotherapy, clinical assessments, and comprehensive case management to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will help individuals navigate complex mental health challenges, developmental disabilities, trauma, and addiction issues. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and clinical counseling sessions for individuals and groups across various age groups and backgrounds.
  • Deliver evidence-based psychotherapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and crisis intervention strategies tailored to each patient’s needs.
  • Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster patient engagement and promote positive behavioral change.
  • Provide specialized child & family counseling, working closely with children with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), as well as their families.
  • Manage cases involving PTSD care, addiction counseling, Alzheimer’s care, geriatrics, and working with individuals with disabilities or complex medical conditions.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic medical records (EMR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medical professionals, educators in special education settings, and community resources to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
  • Participate in clinical research initiatives related to behavioral health or mental health treatment outcomes while contributing to data collection efforts for ongoing studies.
  • Provide crisis management support during urgent situations and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with diagnostic codes such as ICD-10/ICD-9 for accurate recordkeeping.

Skills

  • Extensive experience in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
  • Strong knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques for enhancing patient motivation and engagement.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, adults, seniors, and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
  • Familiarity with home & community care practices as well as hospital-based settings for integrated patient support.
  • Proficiency in using EMR systems for documentation of medical records, patient assessments, treatment plans, and billing purposes utilizing CPT coding and ICD coding standards.
  • Experience in crisis intervention strategies and managing mental health emergencies across diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards alongside medical terminology relevant to behavioral health and social work practice.
  • Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing DSM criteria while integrating social work principles into case management processes.
  • Skills in group therapy facilitation for patients dealing with PTSD, addiction recovery, or behavioral health challenges within clinical or community settings.
