Position Overview
We’re seeking a Licensed Esthetician with a strong foundation in facials and skincare who is eager to grow in a medspa environment and actively build their own client base.
You’ll:
- Provide customized, medical-grade facials, peels and skincare treatments
- Educate clients on medical-grade skincare and treatment plans
- Help grow your personal book of business through self-promotion, referrals, and social media presence

Key Responsibilities
Client Care & Treatments
- Perform a variety of facials and advanced skincare treatments (e.g., custom facials, Hydrafacials, acne treatments, chemical peels, dermaplaning, etc.)
- Conduct thorough skin consultations to understand client goals, concerns, and preferences
- Create personalized treatment plans in alignment with Pretty Please protocols and provider recommendations
- Provide clear, supportive home care education using medical-grade skincare products
Collaboration & Medspa Environment
- Work closely with our medical providers to support overall client treatment plans
- Confidently discuss available services (e.g., injectables, laser, biostimulators, etc. as appropriate) and refer to providers when indicated
- Maintain accurate and timely treatment notes and documentation
Sales, Self-Promotion & Client Growth
- Recommend skincare regimens and treatment plans that genuinely support client goals — never pushy, always honest and educational
- Actively grow and nurture your client base, including:
- Encouraging rebooking and long-term treatment plans
- Inviting clients to refer friends and family
- Building strong relationships that support retention and loyalty
- Participate in events, promotions, and campaigns that support client growth and brand awareness
- Take initiative in self-promotion within your comfort level and our brand guidelines (for example: sharing your work, talking about openings, promoting specials, etc.)
Social Media & Brand Presence
- Help maintain a professional, authentic social media presence that aligns with Pretty Please’s brand and values
- Be willing to:
- Create or collaborate on before-and-after content (within consent and policy)
- Share educational tips, skincare routines, and treatment insights
- Occasionally appear in video content (e.g., treatment snippets, “day in the life,” skincare education)
- Support content creation by providing ideas, behind-the-scenes moments, and real client experiences (while always protecting privacy and following HIPAA and clinic policies)
Guest Experience & Environment
- Create a welcoming, calming, and inclusive environment for every client
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety, following all protocols and regulations
- Support front desk and team as needed (light reception, room turnover, stocking, etc.)
Qualifications
Required:
- Current California Esthetician License in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience performing facials and skincare treatments
- Strong knowledge of skin types, conditions, and corrective skincare
- Genuine interest in working in a medical spa setting and learning about advanced treatments
- Comfort with self-promotion and social media involvement as part of role expectations
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Reliability, professionalism, and strong attention to detail
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience working in a medspa, dermatology, or plastic surgery environment
- Familiarity with medical-grade skincare lines
- Experience with Hydrafacial
- Experience with advanced treatments (e.g., chemical peels, dermaplaning, light devices, etc.)
- Prior experience using Instagram, TikTok, or similar platforms for professional/esthetic content
Schedule
- Part-time: 20–30 hours per week
- Availability for some Saturdays is strongly preferred
- Specific schedule to be determined based on mutual fit and clinic needs
