BODY BACK IN ACTION is a results-driven MEDISPA seeking a high-performing Esthetician to join our team as a 1099 Independent Contractor. This position is ideal for an esthetician who thrives in a clinical environment, understands medical-grade skincare, and is confident in sales, upgrades, memberships, and retail.

This is not a basic facial spa role. We are looking for someone who can deliver results, educate clients, and convert consultations into long-term treatment plans.

Compensation

• $20–$30 per booked service hour (based on experience)
• Commission on facial upgrades & advanced treatments
• Commission on retail product sales
• 100% of tips
• Paid bi-weekly
• Average earning potential: $35–$55 per hour

Client Volume

• Each esthetician is provided up to 20 clients per month
• It is the esthetician’s responsibility to:
• Upsell treatment upgrades
• Convert clients into monthly memberships
• Sell treatment packages
• Build and retain a consistent client base

Core Responsibilities

• Perform customized facials and medispa skin treatments
• Conduct in-depth skin consultations and analysis
• Confidently recommend treatment plans, upgrades, and packages
• Promote and sell:
• Monthly memberships
• Service packages
• Medical-grade retail products
• Maintain detailed and accurate client records
• Follow all NJ Board of Cosmetology and medispa protocols
• Maintain a clean, clinical treatment environment

Sales & Performance Expectations

This role requires:

• Strong closing and consultation skills
• Comfort discussing pricing and treatment plans
• A proactive, goal-driven mindset
• Ability to consistently meet sales and upgrade targets

If you are uncomfortable with sales, this role is not a fit.

Marketing & Content Creation (Mandatory)

• Must be comfortable on camera
• Monthly content creation is required
• Content may include:
• Treatment demonstrations
• Educational skincare content
• Promotional and testimonial-style videos
• Creativity and professionalism are expected

Lead Outreach & Booking

• Each esthetician has one assigned day per week
• Responsible for:
• Calling and booking new leads
• Client follow-ups and reactivations
• Strong communication skills required

Schedule

• Medispa open Sunday–Sunday
• Operating hours: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM
• Shifts assigned weekly based on availability

Ideal Candidate

• Licensed New Jersey Esthetician (required)
• Experience in a medispa or clinical setting preferred
• Strong sales and consultation skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and professional
• Compassionate, empathetic, and client-focused
• Confident, innovative, and self-motivated
• Not camera shy

Medical background is a strong plus (nursing, medical assisting, clinical aesthetics)

Pay: $21.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
