The esthetician administers professional facials, waxing and dermaplaning hair removal, lash lift and tint, brow shaping and brow tinting, and body treatments to Adorn Waxing and Skincare Studio clients. They must possess thorough knowledge of the skin and hair. Be willing to learn specific facial and treatment offerings. Must possess excellent communication skills and ability to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness and beauty solutions to the needs of our clients. You must hold and maintain a current Oregon state esthetic license.

Job Duties

• Provide a variety of facial treatments such as facials, dermaplaning, peels, Hydrafacial, nanoneedling, etc.
• Perform all types of body and facial waxing.
• Recommend professional skincare products for at home use.
• Help check in and check out clients as needed.
• Help with room turnover in between clients.
• Performs skin care treatment and touch therapies, which include light massage.
• Assess any skin problems or conditions, and suggest appropriate therapy/treatments.
• Maintain spa appearance and cleanliness.
• Stock and maintain treatment rooms according to standard operating procedures.
• Maintains and increases knowledge of product lines and skin/body treatments by attending new product and skin care trainings, in house instruction and education/training classes.
• Assist in all areas of Studio operation as requested by management.

Requirements

• Maintain appropriate certifications and licensure.
• Possesses excellent communication skills.
• Be proficient in waxing and various skin care treatment and modalitites.
• Have the ability to provide legible communication.
• Have knowledge in human anatomy and physiology.
• Be familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within our particular field.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, and use arms and hands for long periods of time.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color acuity, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
