Licensed Esthetician

Job Summary

Salternative Spa is seeking a passionate, professional, and client-focused Licensed Esthetician to join our growing luxury wellness and medspa team.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional skincare consultations and create personalized treatment plans.
• Provide exceptional client care while delivering high-quality treatments.
• Perform facial treatments, chemical peels, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, body treatments, body contouring, waxing, lash and brow services, makeup application, and other esthetic services as offered.
• Perform advanced aesthetic procedures including laser treatments, radiofrequency, microneedling, skin rejuvenation, and other technologies after receiving appropriate certification and training.
• Assist with wellness services and new treatment offerings as Salternative Spa continues to expand.
• Educate clients on skincare routines, treatment plans, and product recommendations.
• Accurately maintain client documentation using electronic medical records (EMR).
• Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies according to sanitation and infection control standards.
• Promote retail products, memberships, and treatment packages.
• Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to remain current with new treatments, devices, and industry trends.
• Deliver a luxury client experience from consultation through follow-up.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Esthetician License.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Passion for skincare, aesthetics, wellness, and continued education.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced luxury spa environment.
• Experience with advanced treatments is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to become certified and trained in new procedures as the practice expands.

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
