Licensed Esthetician and Laser Technician

Job Overview
We are at Slim N Smart seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Esthetician with at least 2 years of professional experience to join our growing team and lead our weight loss wellness center. This role combines hands-on esthetic services with management responsibilities, ensuring a high standard of care and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various esthetic treatments, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for clients while overseeing daily operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform professional esthetic services including facials, body treatments, body sculpting , body contouring, fat reduction treatment, red light & laser therapy and other skin care procedures in accordance with state licensing regulations.
• Operate and maintain body sculpting machines, red light therapy equipment, Skin tightening machines and other clinic devices safely and effectively.
• Conducts a thorough health and skincare consultation prior to each service to deliver a personalized experience for each member and guest. Confirms contra-indications, allergies or any other health or skin-related conditions prior to providing each service.
• Provide personalized consultations to recommend services and products to meet clients’ goals.
• Experienced in giving the patient GLP-1 Injections like Ozempic and Trizipitide.
• Take body measurements, BMI and Vitals.
• Maintain accurate client treatment records and update progress as needed
• Maintain EMR records , software's and CRM systems.
• Educate clients on treatment plans, post-treatment care, and available products/services.
• Handle client services inquiries and resolve any concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Achieve and exceed sales goals by promoting packages, memberships, retail products, and add-on services.
• Manage the wellness center's daily operations, including follow up scheduled appointments and overseeing front desk and other activities.
• Welcoming clients in a warm, friendly manner, accompanying them to and from treatment rooms, and thanking them sincerely on departure.
• Assist the team with taking appointments, scheduling, answering questions and calls.
• Work collaboratively with the clinic team to ensure a smooth and positive client experience.
• Train and mentor junior staff on best practices in customer service, esthetic techniques, and upselling strategies.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation standards and maintain a clean and safe environment for both staff and clients.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current Esthetician License with proven experience in the field (required).
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in esthetics, spa, or wellness environment.
• Hands-on experience with body sculpting machines, red light therapy, and other advanced aesthetic devices.
• Strong management skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
• Proficiency in various esthetic treatments including Skin tightening , fat reduction , slimming and other losing weight treatment.
• Experience in injections, weight loss treatments, and GLP-1 therapy is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation practices within the beauty industry.
• Proven sales skills and ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Strong organizational and office management abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with clients and staff alike.
• Professional appearance and ability to create a welcoming, trustworthy atmosphere for clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in med spa settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of retail sales techniques with an emphasis on upselling products and services.
• Familiarity with Medspa's and wellness center software systems for efficient operation management.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of weight loss, skin rejuvenation, and body contouring programs.
• Familiarity with scheduling software and POS systems.
• Bilingual abilities (a plus, but not required).
