Refine Aesthetics is seeking an experienced, highly skilled Esthetician to join our boutique luxury medical aesthetics practice. This role is ideal for a professional who values elevated patient care, clinical excellence, and long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate embodies refinement, professionalism, adaptability, and a strong understanding of medical-grade skincare and advanced aesthetic treatments.
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform esthetic treatments including but not limited to:
- Medical-grade facials
- Chemical peels
- Dermaplaning
- Customized skincare treatments
- Pre and post-procedure skin prep and recovery protocols
Educating clients on the following:
- Skin health and individualized treatment plans
- Medical-grade skincare regimens
- Post-treatment care and expectations
Additional Esthetician responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with providers to support injectable, regenerative, and device-based treatments
- Cross sell all services & treatments, when appropriate, including functional medicine programs, memberships, and loyalty programs with integrity
- Maintain exceptional treatment room standards, infection control, conduct regular audits, and inspections of esthetician & practice supplies and devices
- Build and maintain long-term patient relationships through trust, education, and results
- Support retail skincare sales through education—not pressure
- Contribute to the overall patient experience by supporting clinical flow, and troubleshooting schedule and appointment book challenges for the entire team.
- Responsibilities may include front desk operations, accurate cash and transaction handling, polished telephone communication, inventory management, and maintaining a pristine, well stocked practice and treatment rooms
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina Esthetician License
- Minimum 2 years of experience in high-end sales, retail or the hospitality industry
- Proven experience working with medical-grade skincare lines
- Strong knowledge of skin health, skin conditions, & individualized treatment planning
- Professional, punctual, and a polished demeanor
- Excellent in person communication skills, client follow up, and building authentic client relationships through networking, CRM software, loyalty programs & memberships
- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and clinical standards
- Proficiency in Salon or Med spa software
- Willingness to take on expanded responsibilities and adaptability to meet changing needs of the practice
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic, self motivated, and committed to elevating the client experience & exceeding expectations
- Passionate about the aesthetic industry, continuing education, an enthusiasm for functional & holistic medicine
- Team player & collaborative esthetician, who is dedicated to supporting practice success while fostering professional growth & career development
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a luxury med spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery setting highly preferred
- Familiarity with advanced aesthetic modalities and skin rejuvenation protocols
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Canva, & Google Workspace
- Social media management, marketing, content creation and editing experience a plus
- Certified Medical Assistant
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
