Founded by Bree Mesquit, an esthetician with 14 years in the industry and her own successful wax brand, Rebel Wax Studios is an exciting opportunity for a talented waxer to join a fast-growing, high-standard studio. Position Overview

As a Professional Waxer at Rebel Wax Studios, you’ll be the face of our studio, delivering outstanding customer service while performing waxing services with care and precision. This role starts part-time with the clear goal of growing into full-time fairly quickly as your book fills and we move deeper into busy season.

We’re looking for someone who may have tried going solo and realized they don’t want to run the business, but still works with an “owner” mindset: you treat the studio, clients, and reputation like they’re yours.

Responsibilities

Provide a high-quality waxing experience that’s efficient, detailed, and client-centered
Educate clients on proper aftercare and products to ensure the best results
Focus on rebooking, retention, and retail; track and improve your own metrics
Confidently recommend retail and services with a professional, consultative sales approach
Uphold and enforce studio policies (including cancellation and reschedule policies) with confidence and kindness
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment room; track and report inventory needs

Front Desk & Client Care (no receptionist currently):

Handle new client follow-ups, outreach, and rescheduling
Encourage and support online booking and in-person rebooking after each service

Marketing & Content:

Be comfortable on camera and in-studio filming (Reels, BTS, education)
Capture content and send deliverables to our marketing team on schedule
Continuously learn and grow by attending trainings and staying updated on industry trends

Qualifications

Licensed Esthetician or Cosmetologist in Oregon
Ideally a minimum of 2 years waxing experience (including Brazilians in 15–30 minutes)
Prior experience at a high-volume waxing brand (EWC experience is a plus)
Strong customer service and sales background; comfortable talking numbers and goals
Proven ability to build and retain a clientele
Positive, resilient attitude and strong work ethic (punctual, reliable, hungry to grow)
Team player who works well independently and with others
Comfortable being featured in content (Reels, BTS, etc.)

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: From $15.00 per hour or 30% commission (whichever is greater per pay period), plus tips and 10% product commission

Schedule

Part-time to start with a set, consistent schedule (approx. 3 days/week) during high-demand blocks
Additional shifts added as your book grows and as studio demand increases
Day and evening shift availability required; Sundays required
