Compensation

Base: $35,000-$45,000/yr depending on experience

Commission: $15,000-$115,000+/yr depending on results

Annual Bonus: $5,000-$25,000+/yr depending on results

Duties

  • Actively pursue outside sales opportunities by reaching out to prospective clients through telemarketing, community events, and networking efforts
  • Conduct comprehensive needs analysis to identify clients’ insurance requirements and present suitable coverage options
  • Negotiate policy terms and pricing with clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction and understanding
  • Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that attract new customers and retain existing ones
  • Stay informed about industry regulations, including HIPAA compliance when handling sensitive information, to ensure ethical standards are upheld

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in both English and at least one additional language (bilingual/multilingual preferred)
  • Familiarity with sales administration tools and analysis skills to interpret market data and customer insights
  • Ability to engage in telemarketing activities confidently while maintaining professionalism
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and benefits administration processes is advantageous
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building trust and long-term relationships
  • Valid insurance license required; candidates must be willing to obtain or maintain licensing as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
