Job Overview

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Licensed Insurance Agent to join our internal quoting team. In this role, you’ll focus exclusively on crafting accurate, competitive quotes for new business opportunities – no cold calling or lead generation required. Key Responsibilities

• Review and process new business submissions from our marketing and referral channels.
  
• Generate timely, customized insurance quotes using agency management systems and carrier platforms.
  
• Collaborate with account managers and underwriters to ensure quotes align with client needs and risk profiles.
  
• Provide exceptional internal support by communicating quote details, coverage options, and recommendations.
  
• Maintain accurate records in our CRM system and stay updated on carrier guidelines and market trends.
  
• Contribute to team goals by hitting quoting targets and improving turnaround times.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license.
  
• At least 1 year of quoting experience in an independent insurance agency.
  
• Strong knowledge of personal lines products (e.g., auto, home, rec.).
  
• Proficiency with quoting software (PL Rating or other Rater) .
  
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  
• A customer-first mindset with clear written and verbal communication skills.
  
• High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
