Licensed Massage Therapist

Job Summary

Duties

• Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address clients’ specific needs
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop customized treatment plans that target areas of pain or tension
• Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness and injury prevention
• Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment notes, patient progress, and any relevant medical information
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to all sanitation and safety protocols in compliance with licensing standards

Requirements

• Valid license as a Massage Therapist issued by the appropriate state licensing board
• Liability Insurance from an accredited source
• Proven experience in patient service with a focus on customer satisfaction and professional integrity
• Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practices
• Expertise in advanced techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy for effective pain management
• Excellent patient assessment skills to identify areas of concern and tailor treatments accordingly
• Familiarity with occupational health principles and best practices for workplace wellness programs
• Prior experience working in a luxury spa or similar setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for continuous learning is essential
• Additional modalities and certificates preferred
• Dual licensed Estheticians and massage therapist highly desirable

Pay: $20.00 - $70.00 per hour
