Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific muscle groups and relieve pain.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals.
• Develop customized treatment plans based on physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and anatomy understanding to optimize client outcomes.
• Provide excellent patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere, explaining procedures clearly, and addressing client questions or concerns with professionalism.
• Educate clients on self-care practices related to occupational health, pain management, and overall wellness strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments provided, patient progress, and any relevant medical information in compliance with healthcare standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment adhering to all health regulations and sanitation protocols.

Experience

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in good standing.
• Proven experience in patient service with a focus on customer satisfaction and therapeutic outcomes.
• Hands-on experience performing deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced modalities such as medical or spa treatments.
• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management.
• Prior work in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and explain treatment benefits clearly.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
