Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Overview
We are a Christian Private Practice seeking to hire a licensed clinician who is compassionate and dedicated to join our team remotely. This is a contracted 1099 position with weekly pay. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing mental health services to children, individuals, couples, and families. Being Licensed in multiple states is a major advantage, FL License is required. You will be responsible for assessing clients' needs, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy to help clients achieve their mental health goals from the comfort of your own home.

We are seeking clinicians of the Christian faith to join our team! Not only are we a mental health practice but we are an assisting/teaching practice, meaning we support our contracted therapist financially by covering certain expenses like certain trainings and CEU's, licensing renewal, advertisement, joining our pristine website and receive a dedicated page and (if desired) learning how to have your own private practice and more! We require a one year contract to stay with us but are free to stay as long as you desire beyond a year.

*Although we are a Christian private practice we serve clients of any faith or lack there of.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Conduct individual, family and couples counseling sessions, utilizing modalities such as CBT, DBT, Positive Psychology etc.
• Monitor client behavior and report any changes or concerns to the clinical team.
• Engage with clients in therapeutic activities, promoting their emotional and social well-being.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions, including coding using ICD-9 standards.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and coping strategies
• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in mental health counseling.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• The ideal candidate will be able to integrate Christian principles into their therapeutic approach (as needed) to support the spiritual and emotional well-being of our clients.
• Valid Florida licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or equivalent. Multistate licensing is a plus
• Proven experience as a Mental Health Counselor or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Comfortable with technology and conducting sessions via telehealth platforms.
