Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality psychotherapy and counseling services to diverse client populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their wellness goals through evidence-based practices and compassionate support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
• Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management techniques to ensure client safety during emergencies.
• Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with client goals, incorporating behavioral management, social work principles, and case management practices.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, medical records, and notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including hospital experience when necessary.
• Engage in clinical research and data collection efforts to improve therapeutic outcomes and contribute to ongoing program development.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW) with state-specific credentials.
• Proven experience in psychotherapy, clinical counseling, addiction counseling, grief counseling, PTSD care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
• Strong knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical terminology.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and delivering services remotely is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with crisis management protocols, behavior management techniques, and working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to conduct intake assessments effectively.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while demonstrating empathy and cultural competence. Pay: $92,676.61 - $111,610.54 per year
