St tereiza is an outpatient physical therapy clinic on Long Island, NY. We are looking for a dynamic physical therapist who is ambitions and goal oriented to join our staff.

For over 20 years, St tereiza Physical Therapy has been providing personal, high quality sports and orthopedic rehabilitation across Long Island. We currently are looking for a qualified full time Physical Therapist for our Centereacht Office. Our facility has a bright, spacious treatment area, filled with a vast array of gym equipment and exercise equipment.

Applying candidates should be energetic and have a strong work ethic. Creativity in therapeutic exercise, functional exercise and manual therapy are encouraged. Experience in EMR (Raintree System or similar) is preferred, but will train as necessary.

Daily Job Requirements to include:

• Evaluating new patients and creating appropriate treatment programs based on clinical findings.
• Treating and maintaining a full daily caseload, with adequate time allotted for each patient. More time allotted for difficult patients as needed.
• Maintaining a good flow in the clinic through treating and documenting patient visits in a reasonable amount of time.
• Maintaining your caseload by stressing to your patients the need to schedule appointments as they have been instructed.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients.

New Doctor of Physical Therapy graduates are encouraged to apply. If you are studying for your boards and evaluating offers for the late summer or fall, now is the time to apply. St tereiza Physical Therapy is a wonderful environment for an entry level Physical Therapist – you will be mentored and comforted by senior PT’s to help you become acclimated to the clinic and to the caseload. If you are interested in temporary licensure while studying for board exams, we would be willing to sponsor you on the temporary license with commitment to full time employment after passing your exam. We will also hold positions for the right candidates if they want to begin working after their exam.

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. Your expertise will support a diverse patient population across inpatient, outpatient, home health, and community care settings. Bring your energy, enthusiasm, and clinical skills to help patients regain independence and achieve their health goals through evidence-based physiotherapy practices.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including evaluating physiology and anatomy knowledge to determine appropriate treatment strategies
• Develop and implement tailored care plans that address individual patient needs across various settings such as hospitals, clinics, or home health environments
• Deliver hands-on physiotherapy interventions including trigger point therapy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and post-surgical rehabilitation
• Coordinate discharge planning to ensure seamless transitions from hospital to home or community care environments
• Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans accordingly to optimize outcomes
• Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems and maintain detailed treatment records
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and health maintenance strategies to promote long-term wellness

Skills

• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for accurate assessment and effective treatment planning
• Proven experience in acute care, inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home & community care environments
• Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach that fosters trust and motivation
• Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and communication purposes
• Ability to perform discharge planning efficiently while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
• Expertise in physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics treatments
• Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics in various healthcare settings
