Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Shift Length: 12 hours
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Role Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide high-quality nursing care during overnight shifts in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment. The clinician is responsible for supporting residents’ health needs, assisting with clinical tasks, and ensuring safe, patient-centered care throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications, treatments, and wound care according to clinical standards and scope of practice.

• Monitor resident conditions, perform assessments, and promptly report changes to supervising RNs or providers.

• Document nursing care, assessments, and outcomes accurately and promptly.

• Support activities of daily living (ADLs) and assist residents to ensure comfort and safety.

• Maintain accurate medication records and adhere to all regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams.

• Participate in handoff communication at the start and end of shifts.

• Follow all safety, infection control, and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Active state LPN license.

• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings preferred.

• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.

• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts consistently.
