Job Summary

Duties

  • Engage with prospective and existing clients through outside sales efforts, including telemarketing and community outreach, to identify insurance needs and promote our property and casualty policies
  • Conduct thorough analysis of clients’ risk profiles to recommend appropriate coverage options that meet their unique requirements
  • Negotiate policy terms, premiums, and coverage details to achieve mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining compliance with insurance regulations
  • Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and ensuring accurate documentation of all transactions
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining policy features clearly, and assisting clients throughout the claims process
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that increase brand awareness and attract new customers across diverse markets
  • Administer benefits programs related to insurance products, ensuring clients understand their coverage options and benefits

Skills

  • Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Strong negotiation skills to close deals effectively while maintaining positive client relationships
  • Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency to serve diverse communities effectively
  • Ability to analyze complex information quickly and accurately to recommend suitable insurance solutions
  • Proficiency in sales administration systems and marketing tools for efficient workflow management
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building trust and long-term client relationships
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) is a plus for handling sensitive information appropriately
  • Experience in telemarketing techniques and benefits administration enhances outreach efforts
