Salary: $90,000 – $140,000 per year

Position Overview: The Licensed Psychologist will provide psychological evaluations, counseling, and ongoing mental health support to patients. This role involves working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for patients.
  • Provide individual counseling and psychotherapy services.
  • Develop treatment plans tailored to each patient’s mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches as necessary.
  • Provide guidance and education to patients and families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology.
  • Active New York State Psychologist License.
  • Previous clinical experience providing psychotherapy and psychological evaluations preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical assessment skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
