ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are looking for a compassionate, skilled clinician to join our Riverside team as a Licensed Psychologist or Psychological Associate. This position is focused on providing individual therapy and delivering high-quality psychological care to patients on a one-on-one basis.

Bilingual clinicians, especially those fluent in Spanish and English, are strongly encouraged to apply. Our patient population reflects the rich diversity of the Inland Empire community, and the ability to connect with patients in their preferred language is a meaningful asset.

WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE TREAT

IOH specializes in the treatment of complex chronic conditions, including chronic pain, PTSD, and acquired brain injuries, through a rigorous biopsychosocial model. We deliver care at both the individual therapy level and through Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for patients who need a higher level of support.

Our outcomes speak for themselves. Patients who engage fully in treatment experience meaningful, measurable improvements in function, quality of life, and psychological wellbeing, even in the most complex cases.

At the core of what we treat is a shared mechanism: systemic inflammation, central nervous system dysregulation, and the cumulative burden of allostatic load. Clinicians who master these conditions develop a framework that translates powerfully across a wide range of presentations. If you can treat chronic pain and PTSD well, you can treat almost anything.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO ARRIVE ALREADY TRAINED

We do not expect every candidate to walk in with expertise in chronic pain, PTSD, or brain injury. What we do look for is clinical curiosity and a genuine eagerness to grow. IOH has a robust internal training program that builds real competency in these high-demand specialties. For the right clinician, this is a rare opportunity to develop skills that are both deeply meaningful and increasingly valuable in the field.
