Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Home healthcare agency seeking qualified nurse to visit patients in their home and provide Skilled nursing visits, skilled documentation, vital signs, perform wound care, Employee must be able to submit visits electronically(Kinnser Software), have an active bank account or pay card for direct deposit, be able to turn in paperwork timely, communicate effectively, have a valid driver’s license and adequate transportation to and from work and be able to pass a criminal history background check.

Summary

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will provide essential patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Your core skills in patient assessment, catheterization, and basic life support will be vital in monitoring vital signs and administering wound care. With premium experience in long-term care and critical care settings, you will support patients with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities. Your ability to work with EHR systems and adhere to HIPAA regulations will ensure compliance and enhance patient outcomes. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and performing assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including wound care and tube feeding.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist in catheterization and IV infusion procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care techniques.
