The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides high-quality, patient-centered care within a structured and supportive clinical environment. This role is essential in delivering consistent, compassionate care while supporting patients’ overall health and well-being.
Working under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and Nurse Manager, the LVN plays a key role in medication administration, patient education, and clinical support. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nurse seeking stability, meaningful patient interaction, and a collaborative team culture within a contract setting.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely in accordance with physician orders
Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and care expectations
Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly to the care team
Document patient care thoroughly and accurately using electronic systems (training provided)
Support daily patient care needs within a clinical environment
Perform advanced clinical procedures, including:
Gastrostomy tube care and enteral feedings
Foley catheter care
Tracheostomy care
Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
Maintain compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of Texas
Minimum of one (1) year of direct patient care experience (two (2) years preferred)
Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work flexible hours, including extended shifts when needed
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered approach to care
Experience in structured clinical or long-term care environments
Experience performing advanced clinical procedures such as enteral feeding and tracheostomy care
Strong documentation and electronic health record (EHR) skills
Ability to adapt in a dynamic healthcare setting while maintaining high standards of care

Texas
Contract | Evening Shift
Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Flexibility required for up to 16-hour shifts as needed
Rotating schedule with every third weekend off
Start Date: April 1
Contract Length: Minimum 24 weeks with potential for extension
