Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced, organized, and collaborative Licensing Specialist/ Planner to support the growth and execution of our licensed business portfolio. This role bridges the gap between Sales, Design, Production, and Licensing, ensuring that all teams remain aligned on timelines, financial goals, and partner expectations.

The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. This role requires clear communication, excellent follow-up, and a proactive approach to supporting internal teams and external licensing partners.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner with Sales, Design, and Production to ensure timelines, deliverables, and product pipelines are on track.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for internal updates and licensor communications.
  • Capture detailed meeting notes and distribute concise recaps and next steps.

Licensing & Financial Tracking

  • Maintain accurate tracking of all licensed programs, including performance vs. contractual Minimum Guarantees (MGs).
  • Support monthly and quarterly sales forecasting and reporting across brands and accounts.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to align forecasts with internal corporate budgets.

Sales & Retail Reporting

  • Collect and analyze retail placement reports, sell-through data, and forecasting updates from the sales team.
  • Consolidate placement and performance data to share with licensors and management.
  • Provide actionable insights based on sales trends, category performance, and competitive analysis.

Presentation & Communication Support

  • Prepare licensor presentations, brand decks, and category updates following brand guidelines.
  • Assist in preparing for partner meetings, including product sample coordination and presentation materials.
  • Manage ongoing updates for brand performance summaries, retail wins, and innovation highlights.

Ad Hoc & Strategic Projects

  • Support special initiatives, new license set-up, renewals, and product launches.
  • Perform data analysis or project management as needed to support the Licensing and Sales teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
