Join our Environment and Sustainability Practice to deliver whole-life/embodied carbon and operational carbon assessments across the built environment and infrastructure. You will model LCAs, interpret results, recommend reduction strategies, and support certification/compliance deliverables. Work spans concept through pre-concept to detailed design and procurement, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

Deliver whole-building/asset LCAs and embodied carbon studies; model scenarios, benchmark options, and generate client-ready insights and visuals.

Manage LCA-focused sustainability projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs.

Collaborate directly with stakeholders to understand sustainability goals and convert them into practical, evidence-based strategies.

Use LCA tools to build robust models, leverage BIM integrations, and produce auditable reports.

Collect, validate, and manage data to develop robust LCA models and perform full assessments.

Support LEED/BREEAM or similar certifications, including Building Life-Cycle Impact Reduction documentation and calculators.

Apply LCA methodologies aligned with green building certification schemes (e.g., LEED BD+C).

Extract, review, and compare carbon factors/EPDs and supplier data; advise on product choices and procurement.

Apply PAS 2080:2023 / RICS WLCA (2nd ed.) principles for whole-life carbon management and reporting.

Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in carbon reduction.

Document technical notes, methods, and client presentations; contribute to bids, fee proposals, and delivery plans.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, cost & procurement teams to embed low-carbon design decisions early.

About you

2–6 years’ experience in LCA/embodied carbon for AEC/infrastructure projects, with hands-on tool use (e.g., One Click LCA, eTool, Tally LCA, SimaPro).

Working knowledge of ISO 14040/14044 (LCA), EN 15978 (building LCA), and EN 15804 (EPDs).

Sustainability accreditation (LEED AP, ENVISION SP, WELL AP or equivalent); international exposure is a plus.

Experience with PAS 2080:2023 delivery on infrastructure programs; familiarity with RICS WLCA v2 reporting.

Ability to read/understand EPDs and advise on low-carbon procurement/alternatives.

Strong data skills: Excel/Sheets (pivoting, QA/QC), and comfort with quantity take-off/BIM exports for LCA inputs.

Excellent technical writing and stakeholder communication.

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tabula, Spotfire).
