Job Summary
The Life Policy Operations Processor is responsible for issuing and servicing life insurance policies in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner. The role ensures all policy servicing requests and documentation are processed in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), regulatory requirements, and defined KPIs, supporting operational excellence across Individual and Group Life lines.
Key Responsibilities

Process new policy setups, renewals, endorsements, certificates, and queries in line with required checklists, ensuring timely execution and coordination with other departments.

Adhere to all underwriting, regulatory, and compliance requirements, including document screening, reporting suspicious transactions, and maintaining proper record retention.

Follow the Authority Matrix and Standard Operating Procedures strictly, referring any deviations for appropriate approval.

Ensure all policy issuance and administration activities meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Turnaround Times (TATs) with both internal and external clients.

Maintain high-quality standards in all policy processing activities in alignment with defined quality benchmarks and company procedures.

Review and verify accuracy of all policy documents, terms & conditions, endorsements, and service requests before issuance.

Handle new and renewal policy fulfillment, endorsements, and all service requests according to the defined TATs and SOPs.

Collaborate with internal teams and departments to ensure smooth and efficient resolution of operational requests.

Provide professional and prompt customer service to internal stakeholders and clients.

Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing accuracy, efficiency, and service quality.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree required.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance industry, specifically in Individual Life and Group Life Insurance policy administration.
