The Kalbasi Laboratory at Stanford University is seeking a Life Science Research Professional 1 to join a vibrant team working to tackle the problem of immunotherapy resistance in cancer, especially sarcoma. The work will occur at the intersection of immunology and cancer biology, using preclinical models and samples from patients treated on clinical trials. The individual will perform basic functions and activities involved in defined research projects, and independently conduct and analyze experiments.
The Kalbasi Lab is administratively situated within the Stanford University School of Medicine’s Department of Radiation Oncology and will be affiliated with the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy at Stanford. As an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center the Stanford Cancer Institute is a dynamic and stimulating place to work as it maintains the highest level of scientific rigor, institutional support, and coordination for the complete range of cancer-related research, including basic, translational, clinical and population-based science.

The expected pay range for this position is $32.58 to $38.48 per hour.
