Lifeguard

Overview

Salayel Hospitality is seeking responsible and vigilant Lifeguards to ensure the safety and wellbeing of guests using swimming pools, beaches, and recreational water facilities. The ideal candidate will maintain a secure environment while delivering professional and friendly service in line with hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of guests at all pool and water recreation areas at all times
• Monitor swimming activities and enforce pool rules and safety regulations
• Perform water rescues, first aid, and CPR when required
• Conduct regular pool area inspections to identify and report hazards
• Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of poolside equipment and furniture
• Ensure availability and readiness of lifesaving equipment (rescue tubes, first aid kits, AED, etc.)
• Provide courteous assistance to guests and answer safety-related inquiries
• Record and report incidents, accidents, and maintenance issues promptly
• Coordinate with Security, Engineering, and Recreation teams when necessary
• Comply with local authority regulations and Salayel Hospitality SOPs

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid Lifeguard Certification (Ellis, Red Cross, ILS, or equivalent - UAE approved)
• CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification mandatory
• Previous experience as a Lifeguard in a hotel, resort, or leisure facility preferred
• Strong swimming skills and physical fitness
• Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
