We are seeking a highly polished and brand-driven Lifestyle Travel Consultant to elevate our luxury travel offering. This role goes beyond traditional reservations, it’s about curating exceptional experiences that reflect a distinctive, modern luxury vision aligned with our brand ethos. The role will manage our luxury client base post-sales, nurture key relationships with high-value partners and design lifestyle-oriented itineraries that embody exclusivity and authenticity.

The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of luxury travel trends and lifestyle expectations within our key European source markets, coupled with a refined aesthetic sense and passion for curating exceptional travel experiences. They thrive in a dynamic environment, managing high-profile clients and partners with professionalism, precision and warmth.

They are fluent in English and at least one other European language, to effectively support and manage existing business while contributing to the growth of our lifestyle-oriented concierge services.

Client & Partner Relationships

  • Act as the dedicated point of contact for luxury clients, partners and travel designers.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-end travel agencies, tour operators, and lifestyle partners.
  • Anticipate client needs and deliver bespoke itineraries, hotel experiences, and concierge services with a luxury mindset.
  • Represent Desert Gate’s lifestyle brand standards in all client communications and external collaborations.

Reservations & Operations Excellence

  • Manage all reservations with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and high service standards.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Transfers, Excursions, Operations, Finance) to ensure smooth delivery of premium services.
  • Monitor service quality through follow-up with clients and partners, ensuring a consistent five-star experience throughout the guest journey.
  • Handle last-minute requests and special VIP arrangements with discretion and efficiency.
  • Assist in preparing quotations and product descriptions for offers as required.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of Desert Gate’s Luxury & Lifestyle brand strategy through creative input and market insights.
  • Support marketing initiatives and product presentations with culturally relevant content for the Italian market.

Internal & External Coordination

  • Liaise with internal departments such as Transfers, Sales, Excursions, Visas, and Accounts to resolve issues and provide booking updates.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to address and resolve any partner-related issues effectively and promptly.

Managing Complaints in a Constructive Manner:

  • Listen to client requests & concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Take appropriate action to address complaints, escalating unresolved issues to senior management if necessary.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and maintain a positive brand reputation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management or related field is preferred
  • Industry Experience - minimum of 3 years of experience in reservations in a luxury DMC, tour operator or concierge environment.
  • Specialist Knowledge - deep understanding of luxury travel trends and lifestyle expectations. High aesthetic awareness and passion for the luxury travel sector.
  • Problem-Solving Skills - demonstrated experience of resolving customer queries or last-minute requests and handling conflicts and complaints in a constructive manner.
  • Technical Acumen - strong working knowledge of reservations systems and platforms, including FIT booking tools.
  • Market Knowledge – familiarity with source markets, customer behavior and travel preferences. Proven success managing European markets.
  • IT Proficiency - good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Communication - excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on excellent customer service. Multilingual with fluency in English at least one other language such as German or Italian
