Job Description – Lifting Appointed Person

Position: Lifting Appointed Person (AP)
Location: Various project sites across Qatar
Reports To: Project Manager / Construction Manager

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and oversee all lifting operations in line with project and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare lifting plans and risk assessments.
• Ensure lifting operations are conducted by certified operators under safe conditions.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and contractors for safe execution.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar lifting regulations and international standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• LEEA Accredited Appointed Person certificate.
• Extensive knowledge of lifting operations, cranes, and heavy equipment.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction/infrastructure projects.
