Purpose of Position
Responsible to make report based on inspection and testing.
- To perform inspections and tests as specified in the Quality Control Plan in conjunction with Drawings, Codes, and Standards and Client Specification.
- The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.
Major Responsibilities
-
Familiarization of ASME B30 standards, Saudi Aramco GI & D&WO Matrix and SWIM
-
Perform inspection of lifting equipments & accessories
-
Familiar about rig inspection and NDT handling tools CAT III & IV inspection
-
Review of applicable contractual requirements
-
Review, understand & implement Quality Plan and other relevant internal / external procedures
-
Understand & implement site safety requirements
-
Review and validation of inspection assignment documentation
-
Selection & perform the most appropriate inspection techniques
-
Execution of inspection according to predefined Quality Plan, and to the established inspection procedures / techniques

Execution of inspection reporting including treatment of non-conformities (NCR’s) and other applicable deliverables

Ensuring quality of inspection according to BV Quality System

Interpretation of results of inspections

Maintaining internal and external communication
-
Respects security & safety guidelines of BV and safeguards personal & data security in the working environment

Continuous learning and developing in his area of responsibility

Able to travel long distances by driving or otherwise, regularly
-
Able to perform hand-on tasks on sites
-
Able to regularly work in remote locations for multiple days.
Qualification and Experience
-
BSc. / Diploma degree in engineering.
-
Minimum 3 years’ of middle-east working experience as per the job requirements
-
LEEA certification - 2 diplomas at least
-
NDT level II certificates
-
APLO certified (plus point)
-
HUET / BOSIET certified (plus point)
Skills & Qualities:.
English language reading & writing.
