Lifting / Rigging Engineer

We are hiring a Lifting/Rigging Engineer to design, review, and supervise lifting operations ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with project and regulatory standards, including preparation of lifting plans, equipment selection, technical calculations, and site execution support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review lifting plans, method statements & risk assessments
• Supervise critical lifting operations and provide site support
• Ensure lifting equipment certification and compliance
• Coordinate with Construction, HSE, and Project teams
• Perform load calculations and lifting studies
• Maintain lifting documentation and inspection records

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 10+ years experience in lifting/rigging engineering
• Oil & Gas brownfield project experience mandatory
• Strong knowledge of QatarEnergy standards and RLIC regulations
• Experience in lifting plans, critical lifts, rigging studies & crane capacity calculations
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and lifting analysis tools preferred
• Recognized lifting/rigging certifications preferred

Pay: From QAR1.00 per hour
