Lifting Rigging Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lifting Rigging Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all lifting and rigging operations for a long-term project. The successful candidate will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of lifting activities in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all lifting and rigging activities on site.
  • Ensure all lifting operations are carried out safely and in compliance with approved lift plans and safety regulations.
  • Review and approve lift plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings related to lifting operations.
  • Inspect lifting equipment, tools, and accessories to ensure certification and compliance.
  • Monitor crane operations and coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and signalmen.
  • Ensure all personnel involved in lifting operations are properly trained and certified.
  • Report and investigate lifting-related incidents and near misses.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of lifting activities and inspections.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of proven experience as a Lifting Rigging Supervisor.
  • Strong knowledge of lifting operations, rigging techniques, and safety standards.
  • Experience working on large-scale industrial or construction projects preferred.
  • Valid supervisory and lifting certifications (as per local regulations).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
