Lifting Supervisor

Job Description:

We are urgently seeking a qualified and experienced Lifting Supervisor with LEEA certification for a project based in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing all lifting operations on-site, ensuring the highest safety standards and regulatory compliance are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all lifting activities on-site
• Ensure lifting plans and risk assessments are implemented and followed
• Conduct toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings with lifting teams
• Verify that lifting equipment and accessories are certified and properly maintained
• Monitor crane and rigging operations to ensure safety procedures are followed
• Collaborate with site engineers, safety officers, and subcontractors
• Maintain detailed records of lifting operations and inspections
• Immediately address any unsafe practices or incidents

Requirements:

• LEEA Certification (Mandatory)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in lifting supervision (preferably in UAE or Gulf region)
• Strong understanding of lifting equipment and safety procedures
• Knowledge of local and international safety standards (e.g., LOLER, OSHA)
• Excellent communication and team coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic project environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in MEP, construction, or oil & gas projects
• Basic First Aid certification
