Lifting Supervisor

Role Objective

We are seeking a competent and experienced Lifting Supervisor to provide operational oversight of lifting and hoisting activities, ensuring they are planned and executed in strict accordance with approved procedures, regulatory obligations, and organizational standards. The role is critical in maintaining safe, efficient, and compliant lifting operations across project sites.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Exercise direct supervision over all lifting operations to ensure compliance with approved lifting plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Verify that cranes, lifting appliances, rigging gear, and accessories are certified, fit for purpose, and utilized within their rated capacities.
• Coordinate lifting activities with crane operators, riggers, signalers, site management, and relevant stakeholders to ensure safe sequencing and execution.
• Suspend or intervene in lifting operations where unsafe conditions, deviations, or non-compliance are identified.
• Conduct pre-lift briefings and ensure clear communication of roles, hazards, and control measures to all involved personnel.
• Maintain accurate records of lifting activities, permits, inspections, and compliance documentation.
• Provide technical input to management regarding lifting-related risks, constraints, and operational improvements.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Recognized certification as a Lifting Supervisor from an approved authority.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience supervising lifting operations within construction, industrial, or heavy engineering environments.
• Strong working knowledge of lifting regulations, applicable standards, and best industry practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple lifting operations under complex site conditions.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to enforce standards with authority and professionalism.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
